I love when clients have a vision of what they want for their session. This mama loves disney and wanted to incorporate the theme of baby's room (Peter Pan) into the session.

I found beautiful greens to use for the session, and mom brought these gorgeous wings and we got to create something fun and magical!

Are you having an issue deciding on baby gear? I remember thinking how overwhelming it was!

Here's my tip, and what kept my sanity...
1. Take it one item at a time. Decide that at this moment you are going to research strollers, and only look at strollers until you are decided!
2. Start with a higher level look at the item. If looking at strollers, first decide if you want a regular, a double, or a jogger!
3. Find what you like on one site before shopping another. This way you have a good idea on the one product you want, then you can price shop it elsewhere, or even compare the same product at a different company.

This system will help you break down the big overwhelming list into one step at a time and give you the luxury of truly finding what you want with the features you want at the best price!

Did you know I opened a studio last year? It is quite exciting!

We moved in 2019 and because of that move I was able to open a studio in the basement of my home. It is now solely devoted to my photography clients and this year it will be going through some amazing renovations!

I purchased new flooring which I'm hoping to get installed this month and will be looking to decorate the walls and upgrade some of the furniture. I truly can't wait!

I'm still in the midst of planning, though, so I'd love your thoughts! What should I change, upgrade, and keep?

Productivity...how do you find it?! I’m at my personal best when the house is quiet and I keep off the TV, but I must say, I like my background noise!

When you are preparing for a baby though, aka nesting, the urge to get stuff done is real! For me, it was clipping the tags off all of the new baby clothes and getting them washed, organized, and put away before she arrived!
